Channel Analytics shows you how your audience engages with your content: your views, your subscribers, how your newsletters perform, and where your traffic comes from. It's all in one dashboard, and here's how to find it.
Step 1: Open your analytics
- Open the menu on the left and tap My Channel
- Select your channel from the top left
- Tap the three dots (…) in the top left corner
- Tap Analytics
Step 2: Choose a time period
In the top right corner, switch between 7 days, 90 days, or All time. Everything on the dashboard updates to match.
Step 3: Read your overview numbers
- Views: how many times your content was viewed in the selected period
- Unique visitors: the number of individual people who viewed your content
- Subscriber views: views that came from your subscribers, and what percentage of your total views they represent
- Posts published: how many posts you published in the period
- Unique share: the share of views from different visitors
Step 4: See what's performing
- Views over time: a line graph of your views across the period, so you can spot spikes and see which days did best
- Post performance: a breakdown of each post showing its views, content type, and conversion share, so you can see which posts drive the most engagement
Step 5: Check your newsletter
This section shows how your latest email sends performed:
- Emails sent: the total number of emails sent
- Unique opens: how many individual recipients opened it
- Open rate: the percentage of recipients who opened the email
- Click rate: the percentage of recipients who clicked a link
Step 6: Learn who your audience is
- Audience: your viewers broken down by subscriber type, free, non-subscriber, or paid
- Top sources: where your traffic comes from, for example direct links or external sites
- Top countries: where in the world your audience is based
