Subwave's Substack import carries over your posts, episodes, images, and subscribers in one ZIP upload.
If you’re already publishing on Substack, you don’t have to start your Subwave channel from scratch. The Substack import brings your posts, episodes, and subscribers over, so your post catalog and your audience move with you.
The import tool lives in your account settings. Tap your Account profile in the bottom left to open your account menu, go to Settings, and select Import from Substack.
Subwave imports from an export file, so you’ll first need to grab your data from Substack itself, under Settings → Exports. That gives you a ZIP file containing your content and subscriber list. Back in Subwave, pick the channel you want to import into, upload that ZIP, and hit Start import.
You can toggle off the subscriber invite email if you’d rather not notify them automatically.
Once you kick off an import, you can track its status under Import History on the same screen.
