You can film a pitch video with slides and talking to camera using just your iPhone and the Detail app. No studio needed.
A professional-looking pitch video does not require a studio, a camera crew, or expensive software. Your iPhone and the Detail app are enough to record slides, deliver your script, clean up the footage, and export a finished video — all in one place.
Open Detail and tap Present Slides. Before you do, make sure your slides are saved as a PDF or images directly on your phone. Once you select them, turn on the teleprompter and paste in your script. That way your slides and your words are both in front of you when you hit record.
Don't worry about being perfect, you can fix everything after.
Hit record and talk through your presentation. Tap Next to advance through your slides as you speak. The teleprompter keeps your script visible so you stay on track without memorizing every line. The goal here is to get a usable take, not a flawless one.
When you're done, tap your clip, hit Split, and delete any sections you want to cut. Then tap Captions to add automatic captions, and export.
Slides, teleprompter, editing, and captions — one app, one phone.
That's the whole workflow. No studio needed.
