Detail's split layout lets you record from both iPhone cameras at the same time, front and back, in a single take.
Most people don't realize their iPhone can record from both cameras simultaneously. Front and back, in a single take, no switching required. The trick is knowing where to look.
Open the Detail app, start a new project, tap Layout, and select the split one-and-a-half layout. That's the whole setup. From there, your front and back cameras roll at the same time, giving you a picture-in-picture style recording that captures your face and whatever is in front of you without any extra editing work afterward.
Show your face and capture what's in front of you, all in one take.
The use case writes itself: reaction content, tutorials where your expressions matter as much as what you're demonstrating, travel moments where you want yourself and the scenery in the same shot. One layout tap replaces a whole post-production workaround.
Detail is free to download on the App Store.
