Split-screen live streaming to YouTube and Twitch at once takes one phone, a tripod, and the Detail app.
Split-screen live streaming with both the front and back camera used to require multiple devices, a switcher, and a lot of setup. With the Detail app, you can do it from a single phone in under a minute.
The setup is minimal: a phone, a tripod, and microphones if you want decent audio. Download Detail from the App Store, start a new project, tap Layout, and choose Split Screen. That activates dual camera mode automatically, giving you both angles at once.
This is the easiest way to live stream two angles using just one phone.
Once dual camera mode is running, place the phone wherever makes sense for your shoot. For interviews, set it between both people so each camera naturally faces one subject.
When you're ready to broadcast, tap Live Stream, paste in your stream keys, and select up to two platforms. YouTube and Twitch simultaneously is a perfectly valid choice. Then tap Go Live and you're on.
Paste your stream keys, choose up to two platforms, tap Go Live.
No capture card. No secondary device. No complicated routing. The whole thing runs from one phone on a tripod, and the split-screen view handles the camera switching for you by just showing both feeds at once.
