A prophetic word from June 28th promised four years of advancement packed into the remaining six months of the year. The call is to receive it, declare it, and run.
Back in June, my husband spoke something out during service that I wrote down immediately, because I know when something comes from his spirit rather than his mind. The word was this: in the remaining months of this year, God will accomplish in and through you what would normally take four years. That was June 28th. We're now well past that, and there are still months to go. I am not letting you forget it.
A prophetic word is not a passive gift. When the angel Gabriel came to Mary and told her she would conceive, she had a question first. But then she said, according to your word, be it unto me. She had to receive it before the supernatural thing could take place. The word of God has to be conceived in your spirit. If you don't mix your faith with it and declare it, it won't produce anything in your life. That's not a threat. That's just how it works. We all have a choice.
In these six months, it's going to be like you had four years.
So here we are. Over three months still left in this year. Just because you haven't seen it yet means absolutely nothing. Don't put faith in the delay. Don't view things through natural eyesight. Call those things into being, the ones that are not yet visible, because that is the operation of faith.
The clip we played from that June service said something else I want to sit with: that wall is a ramp. Not a dead end, not a stopping point. A ramp. The wall is going to fall and you're going to go over it. That's not cotton candy dream talk. That is the nature of the God we serve.
It's easy to feel the presence in a service and then go home and let it evaporate. The feeling leaves, and you start dwelling on the mess again, cycling through yesterday like it's Groundhog Day. But yesterday is already old. You're never getting it back. This is a new day. And sometimes you have to look yourself in the mirror and remind yourself of that, even when the mirror is showing you new wrinkles or a new pain in your hip. Body, you line up. Today is a new day.
I'm not going to dwell on the mess. I've moved past yesterday.
What you say matters enormously here. Mark 11:23 talks about believing once but saying three times. That proportion tells us something. The words you declare are the mechanism. When you speak the word of God, it cannot return void. It will accomplish what it was intended to. The mountain standing in your way doesn't move by you staring at it. You take authority. You command it to move. That's not religious theater. That's the operation of faith in the name of Jesus.
Paul wrote to the Corinthians that when he came to them, he didn't come with lofty words of eloquence or human philosophy. He came in weakness, in fear, in great trembling. And his message was in demonstration of the Holy Spirit and power. Not persuasive words, but proof by the Spirit.
When Paul found himself in Athens, he was surrounded by approximately 30,000 gods and idols, according to both theologians and historians. One account says it was easier to find a god in that city than a human. Perversion and idol worship were so entrenched that the entire culture was built around them. The great philosophers and orators of Greece lived there. Paul was not going to out-talk them. He had to come with the power of the gospel, because that is what destroys the yoke.
The book of Acts was never the acts of the apostles. It was the acts of the Holy Ghost through the apostles.
That's why none of what happened in Acts has passed away. The same anointing that was in Athens is available today. The same anointing that was in the June 28th service is here now. It doesn't flow from the religious mind. It requires us to welcome it, to humble ourselves before it, to stay completely dependent on it.
I'll be honest with you: if the Holy Spirit doesn't show up, I'm not going out. I have nothing to give on my own. I'm not a great orator. What I have is a total dependence on the power of the Holy Ghost so that yokes get destroyed and the needs of the people get met. That's the only thing this place is for. It has nothing to do with us. It has everything to do with the will of the Almighty Father.
One of the sharpest things I want to say today is this: our godly reverence has to go to a new level. Anything you're around long enough, you start to take for granted. Familiarity breeds a subtle despising of something. We cannot let that happen with God's presence.
Proverbs 9:10 says the fear of the Lord, which means the awe and reverence of who he is, not terror but holy wonder, is the beginning of wisdom. Not the fulfillment of it. Not the choice part. The beginning. Without even the reverence of God, we have no wisdom. And the knowledge of the Holy One is insight and understanding. If you want more wisdom from the Lord, more understanding of the impossible things he's calling you into, the path is more reverence in every part of your life. Not just on Sunday morning with your hands lifted, though that matters. The most important thing is the motive of your heart and what your life actually demonstrates.
The story of Eli and his sons in 1 Samuel 2 is a hard one. Eli knew his sons were doing wicked things with the offerings, with the women who came to the temple. He told them to stop. They didn't listen. And the Lord came to Eli, not to the sons. It was Eli's responsibility. The word God spoke was striking: for those who honor me, I will honor. Those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed. The Lord saw that Eli honored his sons more than he honored God. And it cost everything.
"For those who honor me, I will honor. And those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed." — 1 Samuel 2:30
We live under a covenant of grace, and I thank God for that every day. But the character of God does not change. Honor is demonstrated through obedience. The question we have to ask is whether our life shows that we honor the Lord in everything we do. Not just in the gifted moments. In the small ones too.
Habakkuk chapter two has always been one of the great positioning scriptures. He opens it making a decision: I will stand upon my watch. I will set myself upon the tower and watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. Most people are fine with God making corrections in theory. But when correction comes through another person, a pastor, a leader, a minister, the first response is often: who do they think they are? The answer is usually just a vessel of the Lord. Do you want to grow or not?
Old ways don't open new doors. I've said this in the context of our church, but I mean it for every area of life. When my husband and I were sitting in Slovakia recently going over everything, the question on the table was: what do we need to change? What needs a higher mindset, a better structure, a simpler design so we can actually run with it? The most spiritually dangerous sentence in any organization is "we've always done it this way." That is how you die of boredom and stagnation, which spiritually is just disobedience wearing comfortable clothes.
The vision in Habakkuk 2:2 says to write it plainly so that the one who reads it can run. Simplify. Clarify. Strip the complications. Then run. Wandering in the wilderness for 40 years is not a spiritual achievement. The wilderness and the desert represent disobedience. If there is no fruit and no forward progression, something is wrong, and the Holy Spirit will show you what if you ask him honestly.
Abraham didn't know where he was going. Moses couldn't even talk properly. Gideon said his clan was the poorest and he was the least of them. The Lord said, perfect, you're the one. That is the consistent pattern. God brings an impossible plan and then tells you, no, you're the woman, you're the man, get up and do it.
The army of Gideon started at 30,000. God cut it to 300. His reason was direct: if the army was large enough to win naturally, people would give the credit to human strength. He reduced it until the only explanation was God. That's the invitation every time he calls you to believe something impossible. Not so you can be humiliated, but so that when it comes through, there is no confusion about who did it.
I walked through postpartum depression after having our youngest son. There was one night I genuinely felt like I was going to lose my mind. What changed everything was recognizing the authority I had and making a decision when I did not feel like it at all to declare out loud that I would not live like that one more day. Was it instantaneous? No. We are spirit, soul, and body. The spirit changes in a moment; the soul and the body often work it out over time. But I stayed engaged and refused to pull back.
I had no idea at the time how the Lord would use that experience to give me an anointing for helping others get free in those same areas. You never know what God is building in you through the hard thing. There is no loss in God. Everything you go through is for your good, for his glory, and for someone else's welfare.
You'll never even step into the grace God has for you until you come to the end of yourself.
The word from June 28th stands. Four years within six months. By the time December comes, you will have been advanced. Not because the calendar is magic, but because God said it and we are receiving it, declaring it, mixing our faith with it, and refusing to let it fall to the ground unclaimed.
Most people leave their harvest in the field. They sow seeds of prayer, generosity, service, and wisdom, and then they walk off without pulling in what grew. Don't do that. Get intentional about receiving. When someone else gets a prophetic word, grab it too. Father, I thank you, same for me. When someone testifies to God doing the impossible, let it build your faith and declare the same for your own life. That is not greed. That is how the body of Christ functions.
We have been placed at this specific time in history, and the Lord does not send his worst for the final stretch. He selects his best. Not based on anything in the natural, but based on those who know their God. Daniel 11:32 says the people who know their God will do mighty exploits. That is who we are called to be.
So write the vision. Simplify the path. Increase your reverence. Declare the word. And run.
